"Rambo" -  truly a great Stafford

"My mate, my companion, my love"
It is sad day for all who new him and loved him.
I don’t think the tears will stop flowing for a long time.
Rest in peace my old mate, where no nasty people can ever harm you again.

He was my top show dog for many years, until I retired him from the ring.  He has been a multiple group winner, Best In Show and several Runnerup Best in Shows at Stafford Specialty Shows. Also proudly producing the Best in Show winner. "Tasca"
Rambo retired on a winning note, achieving Best Veteran in Show at the SA Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club.  He still thinks he is the big winner even just doing a 'Parade of Veterans', going into full show mode as soon as anyone starts clapping.

 "OLD DOGS DO NOT DIE"

We have a secret you and I,
That no one else shall know,
For who but I can see you lie
  Each night in fireglow?
And who but I can reach my hand
  Before I go to bed,
And feel the living warmth of you
 And touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths
 And see ahead of me,
Your small form racing with the wind
 So young again and free..
And only I can see you swim
 In every brook I pass...
And, when I call, no one but I
 Can see the bending grass.
